1972 Rand McNally & Co Trade Paperback edition of The Magic of Oz by L. Frank Baum, Illustrated by John R. Neill 272 pages with pen and ink illustrations. Magic of Oz : A Faithful Record of the Remarkable Adventures of Dorothy and Trot and the Wizard of Oz, Together with the Cowardly Lion, the Hungry Tiger and Cap'n Bill, in Their Successful Search for a Magical and Beautiful Birthday Present for Princess Ozma of Oz. The Magic of Oz tells the story of Old Ruggedo, the former Nome King, comes to Oz for the second time, and make more trouble than he did on his first visit. Ruggedo never gives up the idea of conquering Oz, and this time he has the advantage of being in the country without Ozma’s knowledge. Also, he has the magic and somewhat grudging help of Kiki Aru, the Munchkin boy who is illegally practicing the art. If you like magic, then this is a book for you. There’s magic on the every page, and everyone in the story eventually, is transformed into something else or bewitched in one way or another. Even the wild animals in the Great Forest of Gugu do not escape. There are a number of full page illustrations and smaller illustrations from the original drawings by John R. Neill.

Please read carefully: This book is in readable condition. All pages are intact and the spine is tight. Pages are faded due to the age. There is a water stain in the top corner of the pages for about the first 40 pages and then it starts to fade. The stain does not interfere with the text so the book is readable. Listed for its rarity. There is a name in crayon on the table of contents page. Please contact us if you have any questions. (ctpb.b.)

    Frequently Asked Questions

When I order a magazine are you sending me just the cover?

While we are aware that some sellers sell only the covers (for framing), we sell you the entire magazine.

    Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do. It depends the country's restrictions and the shipping availability to that county. Due to the current pandemic we are limiting our international shipping.

Where did you get your name?

On some mornings, if you get up early enough, from an open field you can see the fog listing up towards the local mountains. Just as the sun starts to creep in, the fog gives off this bluish purplish haze.

    Are you open 24/7?

We are e-commerce only so we are open 24 hours 7 days a week. However, we only staff humans and they work a normal business day.

How do you select your month charity?

We try to select a local nonprofit that we feels helps others and gives back to our community. Or ones that do not get the donations that other big nonprofits receive.

    Gift wrapping and packaging

While we do not gift-wrap an item, if you advise us it is a gift, we package the item as we normally do and then place it in a decorative polymailer. We also add your note to an all-occasion card and insert it. We do this free-of-charge.

    Are you an American Company?

We are an American women-owned company located in the lovely Hudson Valley area of New York State. All shipments are from New York State.

    Do you offer a discount?

We do offer a 10% discount. If your purchase does not include one of our discount codes, please contact us prior to paying and we will send you the code. The code cannot be used after you paid. Also every month we put a different book genre on sale.

Do you offer a guaranteed delivery date?

No, we do not. We can give you an estimated date. We ship via the US Postal System. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over your order once it leaves out hands. All orders include tracking. If your order takes longer than normal for delivery, we will investigate it.

I purchased "X" magazine subscription. How come I didn't get it?

Because you didn't order it from us. You need to contact the publishing company. If you need help locating them, we will try to help. We only sell single issue magazines.
