Do you remember the first time you fell in love with a book? It all started with an unassuming gift from a family friend. As a little girl, our founder, Rachel, was given a copy of the Golden Press edition of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, with pictures by Shiba Productions. Who knew this simple gift could change a person's life!!  She loved that book and read it over and over and over again. This book opened up a world that taught so many life lessons. It taught her about kindness, of love, of sacrifice, of giving, of friendship, of family.  But more importantly, it made her want to read another book, and then another book, and so forth. This is why we choose to sell books. We simply love books. 

Everyone has a favorite book or story. Books have a way of letting you escape from your everyday life into a fantasy world. Books teach you things by opening up new learning experiences.
